Kashi Boat Booking Terms & Conditions

  1. Booking Confirmation:

    • Boat bookings are confirmed upon receipt of full payment or deposit (depending on the provider's policy).

    • Bookings should be made in advance, especially during peak seasons or festivals.

    • A booking reference number will be provided after confirmation.

  2. Cancellations and Refunds:

    • Cancellations made 48 hours before the scheduled boat ride are eligible for a full refund.

    • Cancellations within 48 hours may incur a cancellation fee, often ranging from 20% to 50% of the total booking cost.

    • No refunds are provided for no-shows or cancellations on the day of the ride.

  3. Payment Terms:

    • Payments must be made online or through other authorized methods before the ride.

    • The cost of the boat ride may vary based on the duration, type of boat (private, shared), and additional services requested (guide, meals, etc.).

  4. Duration of Ride:

    • Standard boat rides generally last between 30 minutes to 2 hours, but the duration can be customized based on availability and booking type.

    • Extended rides or special tours (e.g., Ganga Aarti or sunrise/sunset tours) may require prior arrangements.

  5. Boat Availability:

    • All bookings are subject to availability, especially during high-demand periods such as festivals, religious events, or holidays.

    • In case of adverse weather conditions (e.g., storms, flooding), boat rides may be canceled or rescheduled. Full refunds or rescheduling will be offered in such cases.

  6. Safety Regulations:

    • Life jackets are provided for all passengers, and must be worn at all times during the boat ride.

    • Passengers are advised to follow the safety guidelines provided by the boat operators.

    • The boat operator reserves the right to refuse service if a passenger appears intoxicated or in unsafe condition.

  7. Liability and Responsibility:

    • The boat service provider is not liable for any loss or damage to personal property during the ride.

    • Passengers must take responsibility for their belongings. It is recommended to keep valuables in a safe place.

    • The boat operator is not responsible for any injury or accident during the ride unless caused by negligence or malpractices on the part of the operator.

  8. Changes to Booking:

    • Any changes to the original booking (e.g., date, time, number of passengers) should be communicated at least 24 hours before the scheduled ride.

    • Changes may be subject to availability and possible additional charges.

  9. Code of Conduct:

    • Passengers are expected to behave respectfully, particularly in the religious and culturally sensitive areas around the ghats.

    • Any unruly behavior or disturbance may result in immediate termination of the ride with no refund.

  10. Miscellaneous:

    • Boat operators may take photographs during the ride for promotional purposes. Passengers may opt out of this upon prior request.

    • All passengers must adhere to local laws and regulations during their boat ride.

    • The terms and conditions may change from time to time, so it is important to check the updated version before booking.
